“Mixed Company – Visitors to the Creche”

Once again, the students at St. John Fisher School were invited on a walking field trip to the Mary and Joseph Retreat Center for the 15th Annual Nativity Exhibit. Each class of students visited the exhibits and the younger grades were entertained with amazing read-aloud stories highlighting the birth of our Savior. This year, the Nativity Exhibit featured many of the visitors who came to the stable in Bethlehem and how their presence revealed the Christmas celebration through the years. The students had a wonderful time visiting the beautiful grounds of the retreat center, listening to the stories of our Savior’s birth, and observing the many interesting creches from around the world. We are grateful to have this wonderful opportunity so close to school, and we thank the docents of the Retreat Center for their time and dedication during this blessed time.
